1, 100% recyclable
All BOSS™ products are made from stainless steel which is one of the most recycled products. If a BOSS™ product needs retiring, it can be delivered to any of our suppliers for recycling.
2, Manufactured using 90 - 100% recycled steel
According to the British Stainless Steel Association, any stainless steel object has an approximate recycled content of 60%. We go higher and use no less than 90% recycled stainless steel in our BOSS™ products, often higher. The steel we use comes from a variety of sources including decommissioned oil rigs and offshore/ subsea equipment. .
3, Manufactured using 100% renewable energy
We decided to commit our factory to use only 100% renewable energy with guaranteed origin for BOSS™ products. For us, it is important to transparently disclose the exact origin of our energy consumption.
We are contributing to the production of more renewable energy by ensuring that the money goes directly to the producers of renewable energy.
4, Zero waste manufacturing
Stainless steel manufacturing has low wastage as any surplus we create can be reused. Even the fine particles created during the finishing/ machining process are collected and recycled.
5, Customer sustainability objectives
Many of our distributors and users of BOSS™ products have created their own commitments to sustainability. BOSS™ products help them achieve these objectives because of our commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
